Who We Are

A history of love, resilience and shared vision.

On April 15, 2020, three mothers and a father gathered at the Alliance Française Accra cafeteria. United by their shared experience of raising children with Down syndrome, they envisioned a future where individuals with Down syndrome would be accepted and empowered. That vision sparked the birth of DSAG — today our work reaches families in all 16 regions of Ghana.

Self-Advocacy

Nothing about us, without us.

DSAG is committed to raising a generation of self-advocates — persons with Down syndrome who speak, lead and represent themselves on every stage that matters. Meet two of the young voices we are walking alongside.
